Notice about the rights of data subjects

Data subjects have the right to be told by the person responsible for a confirmation whether their personal data have been processed; if this is the case, then these persons have a right to information about this personal data and the information detailed in paragraph 15 GDPR.

The data subject has the right to immediately demand from the responsible person the correction of their personal data, and, if necessary, demand the completion of personal data (paragraph 16 GDPR).

The data subject is entitled to demand from the responsible person the immediate deletion of personal data if any of the reasons detailed in paragraph 17 GDPR is applicable, such as if the data are no longer needed for the purposes pursued (right to deletion).

The data subject is entitled to demand from the responsible person the limitation of processing if any of the requirements listed in paragraph 18 GDPR is met, such as if the data subject filed an objection to processing for the period of inspection with the responsible person.

At any time, data subjects have the right, for reasons resulting from their specific situation, to file an objection to the processing of their personal data. The person responsible will no longer process the personal data unless it can be shown that there are compelling legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or processing is used to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims (paragraph 21 GDPR).

Each data subject has, notwithstanding any other administrative or judicial remedy, the right to complain to a supervisory authority, if the data subject believes that processing of their personal data violates the GDPR (paragraph 77 GDPR). Data subjects can assert their right at a supervisory authority in the member state of their place of residence, their workplace, or the place of the alleged violation. In Saxony, this is the responsible supervisory authority. In Saxony, the responsible supervisory authority is the data protection and transparency officer:

Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte
Postfach 11 01 32
01330 Dresden

As a matter of course, we and our data protection officer are available to provide information and answer questions.
